
Rochester StageWorks is dedicated to providing rental theatrical set pieces at a reasonable price for high schools, community theatrical groups, and other institutions.
Jason Brown has experience with starting and running two companies prior to Rochester Stage Works, one being a S-corp that deals with importing a wholesale product for retail sale. Jason also has six years experience in the theatre and stage production field, with training in technical skills, including carpentry, sound, lighting, and rigging. Currently Jason is the Technical Director for the Aquinas Institute, where he graduated from in 2006. Jason also works for the Tech Crew of the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he is a trained technician , primarily in sound and lighting. In the past Jason has been the Technical Director for the Irondequoit Theatre Guild's production of The Full Monty. Jason is also working on a BS in Information Technology with a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Theatre from RIT.
Katie Lemen is presently a second year student at St. John's University in Queens, NY, working towards a BS in Communication Arts and double minoring in Business and Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations. Katie has worked in fields ranging from food services to childcare, and has been actively involved in community affairs since childhood. She specializes in public relations and excels at working with the human component of any program she is involved in. She has helped run departments of youth organizations, as well as participated in inner city outreach programs as a mentor and leader from the age of fourteen on. Katie has always been interested improving her community, and has been an active member of programs such as the Mosaic Project. Katie has had a year and a half of theatre experience, as both an actor and a crew member, and pursues her love for the art in whatever avenues present themselves.
